West Deco Aparthotel - Miami Beach

Staying in a cute apartment was a highlight of our trip, especially being so close to everything! We loved walking to nearby attractions like the Miami Beach Botanical Garden and the Art Deco Historic District. The keyless entry made checking in super easy, and the quiet courtyard was a perfect little getaway for some downtime. The area offers great dining options, with plenty of food choices.

It had spacious rooms and good location.

That was little hotel set in lovely area, near to shops and restaurants, restaurants, and Miami Beach. In general the staff were great and extremely helpful. Loved the apartment with a bed, wouldn't mind staying there all day.

Is it a hit or a miss? Here's my take

The spacious apartment had a comfortable bed and was well-located for easy access to delicious restaurants. We appreciated the welcome pack of coffee and the ample supply of towels.

The air con needed adjustment, as the temperature fluctuated unpredictably, interrupting our comfort. The response times for maintenance could have been improved.

The apartment had a nice layout with a decent kitchen setup for quick meals.

Mosquitoes were a constant nuisance, with a crack in the hallway door letting them in. The bathroom felt cramped, resembling a NYC closet, with barely any counter space. The toilet's odd placement in the bedroom created unnecessary awkwardness, and the shower curtain hung too high, soaking the floor. The outdated faucet design was frustrating, with knobs that required an awkward grip and a sink configuration, made hand-washing cumbersome.

The apartment had a nice tv and decent kitchen utensils. Quite a few issues was nice. The unit was very confusing to navigate, with Buildings 2 and Unit 2 not clearly marked. AC did not function well, turning off randomly. The beds were uncomfortable, and the cot provided was in poor condition, covered in sand. The bathroom setup was not ideal, as it had a strange layout, made it awkward for more than two people. The flooring was uneven. The potential of the place was there but overshadowed by several maintenance issues.

Our stay at the hotel was marred by a significant mosquito infestation in the room, forcing us to constantly be on guard. The bathroom felt cramped like a NYC closet, lacking counter space and with a poorly-designed faucet. Despite these issues, the soft beds and well-equipped kitchen were notable highlights. the location was convenient for exploring the area, and the provided amenities added to the comfort of our stay.

The apartment at West Deco felt cozy and had everything I needed, like a TV, air conditioning, and a coffee maker. As a low-maintenance traveler, I felt quite comfortable here.

The noise from the street outside our backside apartment was a bit bothersome for me.

Great location in a charming neighborhood with plenty of food options close by, easy access to various attractions, perfect for enjoying Themed mini golf.
